Ok, somebody's gotta say it

Hey, The Internet, WTF ?

You psoted twice, once at 02:28 AM, and once at 3:29 AM, at ungodly hours. You never clarified your problems, never came back to help those out who wanted to help. WTF ?

Those aren't ungodly hours if the poster lived in, say, Australia...
Surprised you guys don't remember who he is and his 'unique' thread postings.

What do you mean he doesn't live in America? How un-American of him is that??

Annoying, pointless thread? Yeah, that's clearly Canadian or Aussie, what was everyone here thinking?! Good catch Besson!

Considering it was Sunday morning when I started posting (EARLY) this morning, I would hardly call that time "ungodly." But anyway, this "The Internet" person's profile shows his/her home to be in the GMT +10 timezone; Eastern Australia, Guam, Vladivostok... So time, being relative, was considerably different in that user's locale than here in the U.S. of A.

And yes, the thread is annoying, but only because so many of us tried to see what was going on. I had three different witty responses queued up but they fell through when I actually read the thread.

Propaganda.

We all know the internet is born and raised in the US. Ask Al.

Didn't Al take credit for other things too? Electric lights, steam engines.... something like that. Anyway, while it WAS invented in the US (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency invented the network concept used by the Internet), it is supposed to be universal, so anyone can take part. I believe it was cell phones and the Internet that doomed the hardliners' revolt in Moscow in 1993... e-mail knows few censors, particularly not really old Commie censors.
