Ladies and Gentlemen,

I started a new blog to bring together a community of Mac users who like electronics and would like to use their Mac as a development platform. I have been collecting experience in this field every since I got my first Mac in 1998, and I think it is time to share.

I also hope this community will teach me a lot of tricks to hack more with my Mac. It is all about sharing information (public domain, your own, or my own). Relevant contributions are always welcome.

The blog agenda includes, but is not limited to, the publishing of:

* strategies and tutorials to use your Macintosh in electronic and robotic design
* developments in Macintosh technology that are relevant to robotics
* leveraging the collective knowledge of members/posters to improve the Mac as a design platform
* adopting open source in OS X, with the help of seasoned Unix users.

If you want to swing by, and possibly become a regular reader, go to Mac Robotics and leave a comment.

I even have a mascot, Junkyard Mac:

I will be making illustrations for the posts as I see necessary, but I will welcome guest illustrators.

For some reason, Blogspot, by default, allows comments only from registered users.

That certainly diminishes the experience. All successful blogs are free for all.

This blog is now allowing comments from registered and unregistered.

Yes it does, by allowing me to pre-approve all comments. No dice from me.
