Rape.
Yes, rape.
DMX
DMX: She ‘raped me’
Rapper DMX says he's not responsible for his illegitimate child.
“[The mother of the baby] raped me,” the rapper told S2S magazine. “I mean, you know, that might sound like some bull[bleep]. No man has ever been... you know what I mean, like never?”
How many men here are the fathers of children as the result of forceful rape of themselves - or friends?

Well, I guess he could have been stoned or drunk out of his mind, and then the woman took advantage.

I do agree he could have been very intoxicated and/or high on drugs. Thus he would not have a clear conscience or one at all. Any girl could just jump on him and do her thing and he wouldn't be the wiser. Think about it, some girl takes advantage of him, has his baby, he 'would have to' take care of it and her, so she would see it as quite the big money grab. Not entirely unfathomable.
For him to prove that is VERY difficult indeed, since girls raping guys is apparently a 'bullsh*t crime'.
However he could have also just got her preggo and doesn't want to take care of it because it was a mistake. That happens almost everyday, which is terrible IMO...

According to University of Vermont's definition 'rape' is defined as:
"A form of sexual assault. Rape is another word for penetration (oral, anal, or vaginal) that is forced on another person through threats to harm them or another, intimidation, coercion, or lack of consent."
Whoever was coerced is the victim. Whoever was doing the coercing is the criminal.
As for me, I don't know.... but this sure reminds me of a Michael Douglass film in which he plays a character who gets raped by a female... (i forget the title).

With the personality-less wife he had in the movie, it was him who practically committed the crime in turning Moore's ass down.

I agree that it's hard to imagine but I'd be willing to bet it's possible. Whether or not that's what happened in this case is another story though.

Thank you.
That was kind of my point.
It's kind of hard to believe, to be honest.
Because:
1. He had to ejaculate.
2. It supposedly only happened once - she got knocked up after ONE [rape] event.
Just seems very strange - disingenous to be exact.

Actually, yes; it's quite possible. The statistics of this sort of thing are unclear -it's thought that while a depressingly small percentage of female rape victims report the crime, an even smaller percentage of male rape victims do- but it happens more often than one might think.

If a female can get pregnant after being raped, I'm guessing a man can do the same thing.

I'm not sure why you think this seems implausible. Sure, its a rare event, but its certainly something that can happen easily. I'm sure you know that it only takes one little sperm to fertilize an egg. And it only takes one sexual encounter to create a child.
And just because he may have been drunk or drugged doesn't mean he wouldn't have been able to ejaculate during that encounter.
I'm not saying that he's not lying, I'm just saying that its certainly possible for something like this to occur. More easily than most might think.

Scenario #1: Guy sneaks into girl's room, and she's sound asleep from having too much to drink that night (and nekkid). Now, due to the way she's sleeping (on her back, legs a bit spread), he's able to sneak on to the bed, and penetrate her before she can wake up.
Is this rape?
Scenario #2: Girl sneaks into guy's room, and he's very sound asleep from having too much to drink that night (and nekkid). Now, he's sleeping on his back, and has an erection. She's able to then climb on top of him, and insert his jimmy into her.
Is this rape?
The second happened to me, and I think I've even mentioned it on here before. I didn't freak out, and I chalked it up to a "misunderstanding between friends" (she was lonely and out of sorts). So, I just rolled her off of me and we just layed there and talked for a while. Ended up just holding her that night (with a sheet between us), and that's really what she wanted to begin with.
What would have happened if I'd been in the middle of a "nocturnal emission" and there was some semen on the tip? What if she'd gotten pregnant from that? I'm glad that wasn't the case, but it did make me think.

A drunk guy with an erection?
So, you're admitting that the guy had to be IMPAIRED to be taken advantage of?
Now, remember, we're talking about a rapping celebrity here, a guy getting the goods thrown at him ALL of the time, and he's saying he was raped.

You are passing judgment based on a persona that is crafted to sell records. Don't be so bold. If one truth holds for women, it must for men as well. Unless, that is, you want to pretend that it doesn't happen to men who are famous.
And if you've never been drugged unwittingly, then you shouldn't speak about what can and cannot happen while you're impaired. I'm not saying that's what happened, but don't believe for a second that a man couldn't get an erection if he's drunk or drugged.

Your call entirely, as it is for anyone who goes through this. You decided that you wanted it to mean something else, and so it meant something else. This does not, however, rob anyone else in that same position of their right to decide differently.

So, you're saying that if that happened to you, and it was your friend, you'd press charges?
Edit: and for the record, it isn't "rape", it's called "unsolicited sexual contact".

#1 I'm at my horniest when I'm drunk, awake or asleep.
#2 A man doesn't have to be impaired to be taken advantage of, but it does add to the situation.
#3 Do you believe that every man who gets hit on a lot is slutty? I know plenty of friends who keep it in their pants despite being hit on all night long.
Also remember, women have many options after being inseminated, the men however have no control over this situation once the 'seed has been planted'. Something to think about.

<sarcasm>Gee... I can't think of any reason a girl wouldn't want to sleep with a famous person, even if he didn't want to... Or even have his baby when he has tons of money...</sarcasm>

If I was in my situation right now (long term monogamous relationship), and a female friend jumped me without my consent, I would probably no longer be friends with that person. There is no way I'd have sex with someone else, that's something special I want to share with my partner and no one else. You had penetration before consent, and if you want to press charges, that's rape according to the law.

In many states, it isn't. It's called "unsolicited sexual contact" or "sexual battery".

I think the point nowadays is that a precoital contract (similar to prenuptial) is required in all situations where sexual contact might occur.

It's exactly what you said, no more, no less. But what you said implies consent.
If she drugged him and had sex with him while he was in a stupor, that'd be rape.

Tell that to my cousin who was raped. I'm sure she'd agree that you aren't at all making light of a serious thing.

One night I had become severely intoxicated and enter a deep (comatose) slumber on my friends couch. While in said state, his female roommate thought that it was a good time to become familiar with me. I didn't know for three days.

I don't really see the problem here. Both an erection and the ejaculation is a physical response centered on the penis itself. If a man was in a situation where he was impaired or restrained a woman take him from shriveled and limp to hard and ejaculating, theoretically anyway.
Here's a weird story:
Woman goes home from the bar with two guys. Sometime during sex one of the guys and she pass out…with him inside her. Apparently, SHE woke up and finished him off while HE still slept. Then she accused the guys of rape.
Both of the guys ended up getting off. (pun intended)
