Yup, I'm typing this on my brand new 2Ghz 1 gig, 80 gig, white MacBook. And I'm loving this Machine. The keyboard feels great, and the general feel of the machine is downright slick. I still miss my PowerBook a bit, but I'm absolutely loving this thing.

That said I'm still missing a few Apps that don't seem to work on Intel. I've replaced Spark with iMote and am very happy with the results. But I can't find anything that will let me copy and paste icons using a CM like IconCM would let me do. Which is frustrating cause I love fiddling with my icons.
I need to look around and see if there's a universal build of snes9x, and our school network is retarded and won't stay up long enough to download iTunes 7. Anyway. I'm seriously loving this Mac, though I would have liked it if they'd have come out with the Core 2 Duos before I bought but either way, since the Machine only cost me 150, I'm not going to complain.

You should have bought 10 of them at that price and sold them here. Tuition...solved.

The fact that the guy was Jewish adds a bit of irony to the story.

Actually there's been neither gay porn or windows on my MacBook. There was a test drive of Office but that's gone .

By the way I should say our home owners insurance covered the damaged PowerBook, and this is what we got as a replacement. So I'm happy.

Basically ya. A quick click reveals that he was absent from the lounge for about 1.5 days.

Hence the nickname "salty".

"InYourFace" would be too revealing, of course...

I was using the roomie's PC. But I haven't really BEEN on, like I normally am. Anyway, so it was about a lil over 24 hours before I managed to completely fubar my system. I ran Uno, but forgot I was running it and iTunes 7 hung... and I had another app bugging me to restart. So anyway in the end some system files got fubared and I had to do an archive install, I was booting into Darwin .
Anyway things are back to normal again .
