I'm looking for a way if possible to have my G4 give an output sound for every time the treminal outputs text.
Hence that fake computer sound that you always hear in Tom Clancy movies when a computer outputs something top secret.

you mean like when the film swiches to a new location when the bad guys are dealing drugs, and the text scrolls along the screen like a typewriter?

They're the exact same sounds that TappyType used over 15 years ago, except these guys made their application nagware. (plus, it comes in a Stuffit file. )

Will this make sounds from output from the terminal? (In other words every time something like vmstat refreshes it makes a sound.)
