I preordered iWoz months ago but unfortunately once it arrived it was just added to the queue. Maybe I'll do some rearranging.

It was like three mindless minutes. Oh, and he generally makes his guest look like an idiot. Woz didn't help his own cause much though by acting like a weird-guy (cutting his steak on the plane with a business card?)

Yeah he was actin' a fool. At the beginning of the show i thought he was going to take him a little more serious because he just sounded impressed that the inventor of the personal computer was on his show.

It was nice to see Stephen Colbert as speechless/stunned as he was. Woz did say he was going to take him down or something.

Repeat after me - Woz is not Jobs.

Woz doesn't have the public presence that Jobs does. I've seen Woz speak in person before, it wasn't great.

Don't get me wrong, Woz is a smart guy, and a nice person, but there's a reason he's not in the public eye like Steve Jobs.

Haha. Usually Colbert freaks out his guests, but Woz seemed to kind of stun Colbert.

Anybody ever read about his antics? This was just Woz, and I don't understand all the hullaballoo. He likes geeky, outrageous stories that only a few can appreciate, but what's important is that he appreciates his own humor. He's able to find something hilarious about life that most don't see, some futility in it all, yet he only bends some rules.

He's a fun character.

A weirdo? Nah, just a bit of an existentialist that finds humor nearly everywhere.

Leo Laporte likes to talk about Woz's segway polo league antics. I guess Woz changes the rules every time he breaks them.

That was my impression -- Colbert couldn't get any traction with Wozniak. Colbert may not be as agile with people who are, in real life, more strange than either Colbert or his onscreen persona.

Yeah Colbert seems to do well with people who take themselves very seriously. Case in point: Eleanor Holmes Norton. Perhaps the best political interview ever.

I just received the book, iWoz, yesterday. Anyway, he was one of the guest speakers at MacWorld SF couple years ago. He was funny.

I'm planning to goto one of his book signing events.

We watched the episode last night on the TiVo.
My wife reaction was "Hey, there's someone out there more dorky than you!"
