It took me a while to get used to the "sound" but now I really like it - reminds me of Meat Loaf (the guy, not the food)

What do you think?

Blah. This is based on the one song, though—and the other albums.

This one is quite different from "Hot Fuss" (which I listened to for the first time today) I had never heard about the band before I "came across" "Sam's Town" a few days ago.

I just think most of the songs on this one have a rather "unique" sound to them.

Unfortunately, Sam's Town for me is still on pre-order at the iTunes Store. I'm looking forward to checking it out tomorrow.

The only way this album could be better would be if Bruce himself was singing.

Just got the album. It's taking some time to get used to how different Sam's Town is from Hot Fuss, but I'm really digging it so far.

Definitely loving Bones in addition to When You Were Young.

See, and I've always loved Bruce's music but hated his voice, so someone else singing would be a good thing, IMHO.

I had Sam's Town on pre-order at iTunes, so I'm downloading now. Will post impressions later.

This album reminds me of Interpol for some reason.
