These things are all over the place. I first saw them on a woman walking in the Financial District here in San Francisco over the summer. Two minutes later, I saw another one. A few weeks later, while visiting Hawaii, I saw a little kiosk shop at the Ala Moana Shopping Center selling nothing but these ugly things.
I hear they're comfortable, but hell no am I going to wear something that ugly.

Ya they are super ugly but so damn comfortable it is scary, it feels like you are walking on marshmellows!
i bought a pair for my mom and a friend of mine and they love the hell out of them.
They also have less ugly flip flops and new rubber boots.

Exactly! And, they have been around for quite some time now. When I bought my first pair, I had to go out of my way to find a place that carried them. This past summer, I bought my second pair and they were being sold just about everywhere.

They have big holes for vents and the material resists bacteria. You can also wash them in bleach.

I think they're ugly too but my wife loves hers. She has 3 or 4 pairs in different colors...

They are indeed VERY ugly, but by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They're also lite, like air. I wear mine every day.

I think they're foul - but I have a pair of their flip flops which are very comfy.

They are based out of the town up the road from me... Boulder Colorado, almost everyone I know has at least worn a pair or owns one, or two...
they are damn comfy though!
