Do you guys realize that this opera house is presenting 24 different operas this season. It is incredible. Here in Calgary, we can only see 3 operas and they are not that good. My favorite one is La Traviata and it is presented, in Montreal, New York, Paris. I would love to see it in Paris. If only I were very rich.

La Traviata is playing in Toronto (next year), as well as many others.

How many operas? I was so surprised when I read how many operas are played at the Met, for me this is incredible. In Canada as you know, companies only produce 4 operas at the most for every season.

I check the tickets availability and the ochestra premium are all sold out. They must be season's tickets holders. I find it amazing that opera sells that well. Here the theatre is fulled because they only presents 3 operas out of the year and 3 nights for each opera. So a total of 9 presentations.

In Paris, for example the Traviata is shown for an entire month.
