I agree. Its not a blatant ripoff. The M is a different font and bleeds off the edge on the MS one. MS has been much worse on many other designs. It wouldn't hold up in court.

Well, it wasn't my purpose to claim rip-off, I just found a noticeable resemblance for the untrained eye, it is not like there is a night and day difference between them so to speak, (OK, much like the physical resemblances between humans and apes for the trained eye).
I guess the favicon makes sense, it looks like straight from the Microsoft logo. Sorry about the confusion.
