Reminds me of a great line by Adam Corolla: Mountain Dew is the "nectar of the 'tards"

That stuff is just gross and why is it that every mullet-wearing loser and string-haired pothead always has a bottle of Dew in his hand?
"Altruism is killing America. We who want to save America must repudiate this killer, root and branch. We must understand and explain to others that the acceptance of altruism necessitates the violation of individual rights... and that the arguments for altruism are baseless..."

I remember that
I usually stick to Naked and A&W Cream Soda, or occasionally some Propel.

Technically 'Dew' is a separate word, so it would not require an apostrophe that symbolizes it's an abbreviation, correct?

Dew seems to be the choice for people who have some addictions. I know MANY "recovering" folks in my business and they ALL love Dew. Course not saying anthing against it, I like it too!!

Just an observation

I have addictions that sort of come and go. I will drink nothing but Mountain Dew for a while, then just stop. Cigs are the only one that has been very persistent.

I love Dew, but I prefer Pepsi/Coke. And yes, now I could definitely go for a Dew.

Any ramblings are entirely my own, and do not represent those of my employers, coworkers, friends, or species

Yes, the non-citrus Crystal Pepsi lives in forever in my mind. I miss that.

Any variation of Pepsi is disgusting. Tastes too much like chemicals. Then again, I don't really drink soda unless it has rum in it.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

I stopped drinking Mountain Dew after I read about what it does to your teeth.

That was reinforced by this line of questioning at my dentist:

Dentist: "Do you drink pop?"
Me: "Yeah, usually about a can a day or so"
Dentist: "Mountain Dew?"
Me: "...Not usually..."
Dentist: "Good."

The fact that he mentioned Mountain Dew by name (and he did it again the next time I went in) suggests that the stuff is the equivalent of Tooth Decay in a Can.
