Hey Guys. I know this will be corny and stupid. But my MacBook broke on Saturday and I took it in to get fixed and I got it back already, it stucked that it broke for sure. But I want to email Jobs an thank him for how well the service was. The Apple store even mailed it to where I go to college on one day shipping. So if you guys know how to contact him, it'd be great if you could tell me.

Shouldn't this be a sticky? It seems to get asked regularly enough that either a forum search of simple googling should yield the response.

My question is how many emails actually reach Steve's inbox. Clearly steve@apple.com or sjobs@apple.com or steve.jobs@apple.com will first be viewed by some sort of administrative assistant. While I do believe some do the majority get filtered.

Who really knows how many emails he sees, I'm sure it's just a small percentage.

I'd guess that Steve probably only directly sends/receives email to a small handful of people, maybe a couple dozen. Top execs, VPs, the board, and maybe of high level mangers under the execs. The rest of the world gets filtered through his bodyguards.

I actually emailed him immediately after I bought my 12" PB. In the keynote when he announced it (the revA) he said iLife would be included. When I received it, well it was not.

He responded the same night I sent it (about midnite his time). He asked me if the PB by itself wasn't good enough. I replied that while it was of course fantastic, iLife would make it perfect and as promised.

I was shipped iLife soon after, as were all the other 12"PB buyers. (I don't take credit for this. But it was fun chatting back and forth with him.)

hahahahaha, good one.

because jobs is a man of simplicity, i bet his assistant dictates the e-mails to him over the phone when he's out of the office.

His real address is probably fernando@apple.com.

Right... my question still stands. Fred Anderson resigned from the board as a board member as clearly stated in that article. He hasn't been the CFO for over two years. Peter Oppenheimer is the current CFO and took over as CFO when Fred retired a couple of years ago.

So, cfo@apple.com would not be forwarded to Steve.

Sorry, but there have been alot of jokes in this thread about what his email could/should be.

I'm now confused as to what his real email is, so can someone clarify what address I would write too if I wanted to reach him?

Thanks.

In all reality, much of the sjobs@apple.com mail is actually read by a group
that intercepts much of the mail - mostly the hate stuff - for just such an
occasion if you're happy he might see it.

If it's really unhappy it might go to a customer service group for handling.

He probably has several e-mail addresses, business, personal, etc.

But I do believe he actually sees some of what gets sent I suspect. He seems
like the type who actually would listen and respond to constructive criticism.

It is, but he has one or more "secretaries" that intercepts his mail and decides what to do about them.
