It's hip-hop, Wu-tang or Wu-tang-esque, with (here's your big clue) an unmistakable sample---the sample is the song from the Wizard of Oz that the troops of the Wicked Witch of the West sing as they are marching around outside her castle. You know, "Ooo weee oh, we oooooo oh. Ooo weee oh, we oooooo oh." In the scene in question the Tin Man, Lion guy, and Staw Man are trying to find a way in to the castle to rescue Dorothy who's been taken by the flying monkeys.

Anyway, this track is awesome. I heard it once in a bar, and liked it so much I asked the DJ what it was. He said "Wu-tang" I think, but I can't be sure cos' I's drunk.

Anyone know?

>Winkie Chant

Thanks. Just Googled that. That's the name of the chant on the Wizard of Oz. I'm looking for the aggressive Eastcoast hip-hop track which samples it.

Mondegreen.

Misheard Lyrics:
All we own, we owe her.
or
Oh we love the old one.
Original Lyrics:
O-ee-yah, e-oh-ah!
Another interesting Oz myth is the hanged guy who's meant to be visible in the background during the scene where Dorothy is grabbed by the apple tree just before finding the Tin Man. Apparently (according to the myth) he was a member of the crew who hanged himself and wasn't found until after the scene had been shot. I've never seen him. Probably crap.

Anyway, this is not helping me track down my song. : (
