CNN Breaking News: Britney Spears files for divorce from her husband Kevin Federline, citing irreconcilable differences.
I'm surprised it lasted this long.

Who has a kind word to say about K-Fed? Forever marked by this high/low light in his life.

At the age of 28, a has been.

I say he re-invent himself and forever be held dearly in the hearts of America by joining the military.

Kind of a 21st Century version of being jilted and then running off to join the French Foreign Legion, but this would be meaningful.

i don't have a bad or kind word to say about bro. the fact is, i couldn't care less (as opposed to 'i could care less') about britney or k-fed.

i just wish they'd both just disappear into the hollywood sunset (or wherever annoying celebrities go these days).

and while they're at it, take paris, nicole, snoop and haggart (the minister with the meth and gay sex denial habit) with them!

Actually she isn't single yet. She's just filed to be single again.

But I don't think for a minute she'll look like she did in RAILhead's pictures ever again. She's been used up by having babies too quick (and not having them smart, either).

There's a minor chance that she'll get fit and active again and if so she could look good again, but not the way she did before. I'm not putting any change on this happening.

you'd be surprised what a $2500/hour trainer and a personal chef can do for a body.

Fat?

It's disgusting that you would call her "fat". It only shows what kind of effect the media has had on weak-minded people and their perspective of the human form.

By the way ...

I find it a little unfortunate that Britney's break-up is "Breaking News" on CNN on election day in the US. I guess it shows what the media considers to be important news.

It's kind of like that magazine cover ordeal about a month back.

CNN had election coverage on its front page for the whole day. Is it really fair to blame them for not giving the election a monopoly on the front page for that time period, given that it always had space there?

As for this particular story, I also find it unfortunate that the people consider the state of Britney's relationships to be so important, but they do, rightly or wrongly. I cannot fault the news for running a story that people care about, however unfortunate it may be that they care so much about it. This is, after all, the media's job.

Uhhh...maybe he just doesn't like fat chicks, and he thinks she looks fat? I guess he could get all pissy like a little girl, just like you, since you think she's "thin" or whatever the crap you think she is.

I don't think Britney is "fat," but she's not the girl she was when she posed for all those hot pictures. And having babies changes a woman's body, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. It remains to be seen how she winds up looking, but with the way she apparently behaves (paparazzi are sort of like 24/7 surveillance! ), I'm not betting on a strong, fit woman being her final result.

She'll look fine. Never underestimate the power of millions of dollars spent on plastic surgery to improve things.

I think that Kevin was always just a "stud" to her. That is, he was around to give her children. He's good looking and that might be what she was thinking in terms of future music careers for her kids.
