I just didn’t have a clue what he was on about, since no one seemed to have had their hundredth post in this thread (thought perhaps he meant Mitchell’s 10,000th post (though that was a while ago), and his post wasn’t the first one on the third page, either, but somewhere on the middle of the third page. He confused me, the wicked man. Er, boy.

Meh, tried 9A303, finder is still the same, a few lil things... search that build in google and you will see everyone agrees... No "Cool Leopard Stuff" unless it is some secret-ultra-cool build.

Leopard is getting very nice. I think Apple will be done with it before Spring 2007. ( I just got it through ADC yay!) I think it is almost as good as 10.4.0 was, just a bit more buggy. You can still tell that it is unfinished though, but it isn't far behind.

any reason why resindbuttons.jpg are like 3-5x bigger yet they don't look pixelated? resolution independance finally?

on second glance, the window resize handle is the only pixelated part of the pic...

Basically doesn't count, OS X isn't NeXT.

I was making a simple observation that OS X has many of NeXTs traits.

Eh, that's true in the same way that I'm not the same person I was when I was 10. In a very real way, though, OS X is NeXTstep. Apple didn't buy NeXT for nothing.

It is actually EXACTLY the opposite.

The "quasi-unix platform" OS X is built upon IS NeXT.

Huh? NeXTstep was the foundation of OS X. They didn't take OS 9, magically convert it to a unix-based platform, and then tack NeXTstep features onto it.
