West apparently was so disappointed at not winning for Best Video that he crashed the stage Thursday in Copenhagen when the award was being presented to Justice and Simian

I really want to see it. Anyone have a link to a video? To my astonishment, there was nothing on youtube.

I was watching it. It looked very much like it was scripted.

The show in general sucked. Seal off half the city for that garbage. Meh.

The week leading up to the show was so much better—we had Celebrities (note capital c) running around all over town, and the tabloids were falling over themselves with glee at the fact that Justin Timberlake went to a club and Snoopy Doggy Doogy Boggy Dobb (or whatever he’s calling himself nowadays) had a case of cigars when he entered his hotel. Yoohoo. Sensational journalism at its best.

I'll be honest, I didn't know about him until his Bush statement. I don't care for his type of music.

Now that you've mentioned the possibility, there was a suspicious pause in the only really intelligent thing he said:

"If I lose the award, the award show loses... ... ... credibility."

This could be interpreted as "forgetting one's lines"; but it could also mean he was simply searching for la mot juste.

No; the way he walked on stage, said his lines, the reaction of the others on the stage, the fact that no security even moved a finger, the fact that he seemed to have procured a microphone out of nowhere, and the fact that it wasn’t commented on at all—all these things point quite clearly to the fact that it was a bad attempt at scripted jokes that weren’t even funny.

So why weren't Justice and Simian given some lines? Aside from a few lame comments ("Now you have to share"; "You should have watched our video", e.t.c.) they were almost speechless

Kanye just has trouble speaking, period. Remember his "Bush doesn't care about black people" video? The first 90% of it, he could barely put two words together.

Kanye West is just another manufactured pop star, the music industry is in bad shape right now, this guy, Nickel back, tegan and sara, my chemical romance, the no talents that the record companies are cashing in on is pretty disgusting.
