Alright here's the thing. My computer is about 60 feet away from the nearest shower in the house, and i'm trying to get a firewire cable long enough that it'll reach to that shower, so that I can put an isight in there, and watch when girls are taking showers. Catch my drift?

Yeah, so can anyone reccomend a really long firewire cable to me?

X-10 Wireless Cameras are perfect for putting cameras in hard to reach places.. Now If you place a camera in that shower you may have a pack of angry girls ready to tear your ding a lling off if you get caught, I know i would be mad.. And of course it could lead to serious criminal reprocussions later.. You could be charged with a peeping tom charge and home invasion, and in michigan that will put you on the states sex offender registry for the next 25 years. I would think twice maybe three times about doing anything that crazy, I mean if you want to see naked girls theres a whole internet full of porn at your fingertips and if that dont take care of you theres always the 50 dollar hookers.. might want to double wrap it if you have a hooker though, never know whats crawling around in there.

Some sort of Ethernet transceiver should probably work, I'm not sure if they exist but it would work.

Hahahaha, are you for real? That is sooo juvinel, besides being ilegal.

They have those wireless camera things on ebay. I believe firewire has to have an amplifier every 10 or 20 feet. Wouldn't it be more fun to just ask your girlfriend/wife to help you out with your little fantasy.

You'd probably need a repeater and several cables to do this.

By the way, this is a joke thread, right? Your current design for this system would get you caught (and likely castrated) well before you could ever shoot any video, and that's if you're lucky. If you're not so lucky, the water will fry your camera, your computer, and quite possibly you.
