Now, I'm not one to normally spout about the inane ramblings of this nut-job, but dig the following:
QuickTime VR is Gawddamned Crap
At first I thought he was just going to ramble pedantically about how Apple's use of the term "3D" isn't "true" 3D. Whatever. But then it devolves into the most inane, ill-informed and asinine bizarro-logic about what's wrong with QTVR it's astounding (nevermind that his arguments, such as they are, apply to *any* panoramic software, not just Apple's).
And no, this is not satire. He means it.

Mithras = Well, first off, Hinkley zoomed all the way out to the flat pano for maximum distortion effect to bloster his argument. Anyone who uses a pano knows that you need to be zoomed in a bit so navigating the image is "natural" looking.
