Anyone have any experience with any cordless phone signal boosters? My brother-in-law has a Siemens 8825 with 8 handsets, and he's wanting to try and increase the range.

Anyone have any info on boosters?

My first thought was to look at a few companies that produce cellular repeaters, but I came up with nothing. I don't imagine that there is much of any demand for such a product, not to mention the difficulty in nonstandard protocols and frequencies. Matching up a repeater to 900mhz/2.4/5.8ghz with different modulation protocols would likely be a nightmare.

That's pretty much what I figured.

Yeah, that's what I'm going to tell him to try.

You may run afoul of the FCC if you are in the U.S. There are strict guidelines governing boosting a signal by jacking up the watts, if that's your route.
