Hey guys, I'm not really sure if I should have posted in the political lounge or not but oh well. I was just wondering if you guys would keep my father in your thoughts and prayers. His wife left him two weeks ago and he attempted suicide on thanksgiving day which wasnt good. Anyways the other day he was rushed to the hospital with chest pains...he stayed in ICU and was transfered today to Baptist Hospital with the possibility of open heart surgery and the chances of him surviving are not very good. I know we joke around a lot and get into arguments..much like family...so if you guys could just keep my father in your thoughts tomorrow that would be great.
(tooki if you feel like this needs to be moved please do)

This is a really crappy situation, I'm not the praying type, but my thoughts are with you and your father. I went through something like this earlier this year when a tumor was found in one of my father's lungs.

Best wishes to you and yours. Depression is an evil disease. I sincerely hope that your father will recover.

Of course. I have been thru tough times with a loved one recently and know that support/prayers, help.
Hang in there. Do not treat the unexplained as lack of info, just answers.
Stay strong. All that happens, happens for a reason.

What is your father's first name and what region and we will focus our thoughts tonight, specifically for him. I promise.

Gerald is his name and we are in Jackson, MS...ironically where the first heart surgery was performed.
