My regular old fashion school bag is simply too small to hold all my books and it's too heavy to carry on my back.
I am greatly interested in what you all suggest/recommend for replacements. I am thinking of something on wheels with one of those extendable handles, but before I run out and buy something I thought I'd ask the professionals.
Suggestions?

Several people at my school have gone to the wheeled bags with the extendable handle. My biggest beef with them is the fact that they're so noisy on a lot of surfaces. If you need to do it, I think you should use one. Even if they're considered "uncool", it's not worth a bad back later on. Just my two cents.

A rolling bag is probably the next-best thing to a backpack, but just be prepared to annoy the people walking behind you who will be tripping over it. I personally hate people who walk with rolling luggage trailing behind them, but you do what you gotta do.

I am actually honored that you waited all this time after registering and allowed me to be your first post.
I am 26 and already have a bad back. I guess this is to help prevent further bad back.
