I have an xbox 360 and I am looking to finally get an HDTV to play it on. At the same time, I have a macbook and am looking to get an external monitor for it. I wanted to get an Apple cinema display, but I'm pretty sure the 360 can't plug into it. This is one subject that I am completely clueless about. If I just get a regular 32" HDTV will I be able to plug in my macbook?...and if so what cords would I need?
If not, does anyone have a good recommendation for an HDTV/external monitor solution that I'll be able to plug my xbox and macbook (it doesn't have to be at the same time)? Thanks in advance for your replies.

I was acutally looking around at 32" because of the massive price jump up to a 37"...but that TV looks so great, I just might have to set aside an couple extra hundred dollars for it.
If I had that TV, does the Xbox plug right in it? Or what other cables would I need? Same goes for the Macbook, what cable do I need to hook up from the computer to TV and either run it in closed lid mode or dual monitor?
And the no cable input scares me, because in the room we were planning on putting it, we have an old series 2 tivo, which still plugs in through a cable and I don't believe it would work with this TV.
In the other room, we have a Cox Cable DVR capable of HD recordings etc., but it is hooked up to a regular old TV (shame, I know). If we switched boxes, would that DVR be able to hook up with the TV without a cable, just a cord (HDMI?)...I believe the Cox DVR still hooks up through a cable downstairs, but I'm assuming it also has an HD output correct?
And if I did all of the above, would I be able to have all 3 plugged in at once?
Please excuse my ignorance on the subject, this is just one thing that I am almost completely clueless about, and the Best Buy/Circuit City people are usually no help because any time I've been in there they always try to upsell upsell upsell without giving me any real info. Appreciate the response, goMac!

Let me re-phrase. It doesn't have a cable tuner, so you can't plug your cable directly from the wall into the TV. However, that makes it perfect for a Tivo or DVR box because the DVR box has a cable tuner. You can hook your DVR box into the TV.
It also has DVI inputs for hooking a Macintosh in, and component input for plugging in an XBox.
