Ok, I was searching for an old copy of Aldus Freehand on a fortgotten CD-Roms box, and suddenly I found this CD that includes a lots of Sale Strategies videos about Apple Computers and where do they were trying to go on 2004... guess what? Apple was aiming to what we are reading we are gonna get in 2007, a touch screen small device, compact, with wireless capabilities and all... and I can prove it showing you guys this old video of Apple. Enjoy.

I personally can't wait 'til Bill Nye is on my desktop at my beck and call.

They totally missed how widespread the internet would get.

Frankly, I have no desire to talk with my computer. Typing is more relaxing than speaking, and reading is quicker than listening. I can also do things like googling, grep'ing, scanning visually, etc.

Exactly.

While it may be nice, I don't see myself sitting in a room talking to a computer. The voice commands in the OS 8/9 era was embarrassing enough.

The thing people keep forgetting about voice-controlled computers is what happens if you've got an office of twelve people. It's bad enough when two are on the phone.

yeah... but don't you think that with iChat and a bigger wallmounted iMac in your house you soon will be able to talk with someone in front of your monitor? I think the idea it's weird, but it could happen, though
