Hey Im a film/video guy and never touched the audio/MIDI stuff. I have a keyboard in my possession with MIDI IN/OUT on it..and i have a powerbook with REASON 3.0 on it. What do I need to get up and running? any middle-man devices? or just a cable? thanks

1) MIDI interface (I've no idea what's on the market at the cheap end, sorry).
2) Couple of MIDI cables.
3) Copy of this.
