I ran out of my usual accouterments at work (Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Frosted Brown Cinnamon Sugar Pop-Tarts or Bagels), so I was left to cobble together some type of breakfast this morning.

So now I am currently enjoying:

One of those self-serve Kellogs Corn Pops containers out of a vending machine filled with
Milk a friend lent me, though I'm not sure I grabbed the right one
Oreo Cookies (6 pack) (Out of a different vending machine)
and the requisite can of Pepsi

Delicious.

I just had blueberry pop tarts and coffee. I wanted (the only thing I like from McDonalds) a steak and egg bagel.

With you in spirit! Good morning. Get to work.

I had a granola bar. And that Mt. Dew in the fridge for lunch is getting more and more tempting.

Peanut butter toast and some Trader Joe's brand chocolate-cream-filled chocolate cookies (essentially chocolate-filled Oreos).

Lunch might be some pizza although I am seeing my girlfriend tonight so we might get some take-out pizza for dinner instead.

No, but the adult diaper that came with the box has come in handy.

I tend to find that I prefer the extra 15 minutes of sleep over eating breakfast on weekdays. On weekends it's cereal. Lucky Charms, or Reeses Puffs are always good.

Back when I ate breakfast regularly, it was always Reece's Puffs or Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Then I discovered staying up late, which warranted sleeping in more.

I had a nice glass of apple cider that oddly taste like it's becoming alcohol.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

Hey, when you get around to supper, will you start a new thread so we don't have to scroll so far?

Breakfast was a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats with leche and orange juice (juice in a cup, milk in the bowl). I'm thinking Wendy's for lunch, but that remains to be seen.

And when I saw this thread, I definitely thought of the Vonnegut book, which I'm getting ready to start.

It was a one-time thread. I was amused by my eccentric choices and decided to share. I'm not under the impression anyone really cares outside that*

Congratulations! You win most boring breakfast of this thread.

You've won a life-time supply of unflavored metamucil, one-ply 4 grit toilet paper, and a subscription to Reader's Digest.

I feel great though. Try it some time, especially if you are going to the gym later in the day. I guess over the years I've trained myself to eat for purpose not for pleasure.

When I was younger Corn Pops, Frosted Flakes and Crispix were my favorite cereals.

Trust me, most of the time I eat because I have to, not because I want to.

The choice to eat for pleasure or purpose still exists when one "needs" to eat. It's not strictly a condition of wanting.

I know. I guess I was trying emphasize the fact that I find eating enough of a chore without adding another purpose to it as well.
