I need a video recording program similar to Quicktime that'll record with my iSight at low quality so that it can go for hours and not run me out of hard drive space.

I need it urgently, as I am leaving soon and... No time to explain! I need a program! iMovie takes up too much space. I can't afford 12GB per hour when i'm gonna be gone for at least 12 hours.

Thanks.

Oh definetaly. I'm SO glad I bought that "Camcorder Tape Operator" that automatically takes out the full tape and puts in a new tape when the time comes to an end. *roll eyes*

Look around the Net: there are ways to mod an iSight to allow it to do passive infrared. It's not great, but if it's likely to be dark then it's better than nothing.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

Well, iMovie doesn't seem to be cutting up the video as it films, and as iMovie is powered by Quicktime, I fear that it won't be able to take a 12 hour long video.

When I stop filming it, after it's filmed for 12 hours straight in one clip, will it stay there? Or will it crap out on me like quicktime did and say "Could not create a movie of the file"?

You have a lot of strange needs. Is this for your sensitive and caring movie?

How do I tell SecuritySpy to just record video until I tell it to stop? Is it only a motion sensor program?
