Does anyone know of a DVD copier for windows thats is free and will burn a copy of a copywrite protected disc? I could use mac the ripper on my Macbook but the battery is dead and i dont have my charger with me.
2ghz macbook /120gb hd ,1gb ram, superdrive/iwork

DVD Shrink

You'll still need Nero or Roxio to burn the disc though.

I think the default setting is to rip and compress it to fit on a normal DVD.

Do they make handbrake for windows? It's great,I love all the options in quality etc. it gives you.

Handbrake is based on FFMPEG, which is used by many applications (MPlayer being the star). On Windows, virtualdub uses it and gives you a LOT more options than Handbrake does. I'm kind of disappointed in how simple Hanbrake is.

You can always just use mencoder on the command line if you want full control.

Maybe Handbrake is so popular because its simpler than virtualdub or others. Some people just want to copy and just don't give a Sh*t about all those extra options or properties.
