Roughly-Drafted has a great end-of-year article on the Top 10 Apple Myths of 2006.

Daniel Dilger has become my third favorite Apple commentator (after Siracusa and Gruber). His observations on Apple and the media are just spot-on.

"Best" Apple myth of this year: Apple switching to Windows. Only an idiot could believe that.

Interesting read. A little Apple-centric, but good.

Wow, an excellent piece. Quality prose and well considered. I like his style - deeply analytical (on the surface in that piece, because it's based on the individual pieces he links to). I enjoy reading good analysis - they articulate what's really going on and what will occur by thinking sub-surface, beyond press releases and speeches. Kind of like stratfor, if you're into that sort of stuff.

He raises some really good points and it shows that he thoroughly researches issues, but it's hard to buy his impartiality when I can count no less than four Apple ads per pageview.

The iTunes "collapse" really worried me. Large news services and reputable blogs sucked it up to the point where my friends were commenting.
