I had a little photo shoot with the kitties last night, and some fun with PhotoShop at work today. Here are the results:

I know, I know, there's always pet threads, but really, do they ever get old? Anyone else PhotoShop your pets?

Let's see 'em!!

Nice.

I been trying to do the same effect too but it's not green; its rainbow. I tried, but i cant get it to fill the eye color only. I end up filling the entire face?

Can you write a small tutorial on how u did this?

thanks!

Easy breezy:

Step One: 2 of the exact same photos, one color, one B&W
Step Two: PhotoShop. Layer B&W on top of color
Step Three: Eraser tool, erase eyes on B&W layer.

Voila!!!

P.S.
My cats HATE lens flare!!!

Shadow hanging out behind my iMac - apple must have engineered it to give off so much heat my cat would love to sit behind it.

Lovely work, Mrs Lary! I like the saturation level you used for the monochrome part-it makes the color just jump out without muting the details you left black and white. Great stuff!

Let's hope those cats are Toxoplasma gondii free! You know what happens to humans when they get infected right? its cool to think about it though, the parasite makes you feel insecure and in return you get cannot imagine life without the feline companionship..the circle is complete. just thinking aloud.

Since we're showing off recent work, (and since I know Mrs. Larry likes my stuff)

This isn't a cat... it is however a drawing of a cute boy who I'm going to be hanging out with on Saturday

Oh, Salty - you have the god-given ability of turning every thread you post in into a gayfest.

As one gay to another - enough of the gay already!
