Im sure many of you know the joys of moving... Im moving to a nice 2 bedroom townhouse 1 and a half baths.. for a whole 475 a month with all utilities included.. Rather good price.. Much better than the basement that I was renting.. Its out in a small town about 15 mins from lansing.. Nice country setting. This town is so small you can blink if you miss it.. I dont know if any of you MacNNers have heard of ovid michigan.. but its small in between St. Johns and Owosso on M-21.. Hoorah for no roomates.. Looks like im putting a computer in each room..
The eMac goes in the living room.. the Mini is going into the 2nd bedroom which doubles as a guest room and an iMac G3 in the master bedroom. Best of all theres Free wifi internet

You're moving into a two-bedroom place with no roommates for $475 a month? Where the heck do you live, India? I can't find a friggin' studio in the slums for $475 a month.

Small town in michigan called ovid.. just me and the bf.. its out in the country nice quiet setting.. everythings included even wifi internet..

Lucky sonofabitch. My 2-bed, 1-bath apartment is $450/mo per person (myself and one roommate). I guess that's what I get for living within biking distance of a college.

I'm in small-ish town Michigan as well, lower southwest corner on the lake. I pay $500 a month for an older 2 bed 1 bath apartment with heat (such as it is) included. The windows rattle and whistle like a haunted house and it's about 63 degrees in here right now. On the plus side, there's pretty much nobody else in the building and I can pound the subs about anytime I like. Me likey bass.

As an aside, the new Beck album (The Information) is really strong. Very funky and quirky, fun to listen to. Extra fun when played real loud and hmmm did I mention me likey bass?

Yeah.. Now right in owosso they want 5 and 600 a month for places and in lansing they want more than that.. Small towns= cheap rent and quiet setting

Cry me a freakin river. In Madison I got a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, and it was HORRIBLE.... like, the floors weren't even because it was built on the roof of a 2 story building that the landlord 'converted' to 3 stories... there was tar paper under my carpet, the fridge barely worked, and everything was trashed. Price? $975 a month.

Only downside about not having roommates is your BF can't steal stuff from them and rip them off somehow.

i couldn't get a rat infested closet for $475 a month.
did i mention that the closet would be on fire? because it would. they'd call it "randomly distributed built-in heating."

LOL thats great... Get this the deposit was 200 dollars.. We have no furniture but alas it'll be fine.. we will just be japanese fora while sitting on the floor eating and stuff... Well its time to start.. we just picked up the keys and we have a little saturn SL1 to move all our stuff.. 99 percent of it is computer crap.. I put a bunch of dead slot load iMacs out by the road and people have been taking them... even though they have blown PAV boards..

well so much for that.. the idiot landlord told us we could have it and then rented it out to someone this morning.. I got the house all packed up and everything all set for the move and then this **** happens.. Steven went thru the roof... almost wrecked the car driving home.. because every place ive located has denied us.. except that one

Rented it out early this morning.. he basically said when i showed up someone showed up with the cash faster than we did.. 3 days I have to be outta here.. the house was sold that we are living at.. and theres nothing else in this town.. nearest place is flint or lansing.. and id rather not live in a city like that.. rat infested dirty cities with guns dont appeal to me much

I was just saying if only have 3 days you might not want to ship anything. It'd take far too long. Plus I'm sure buyers here would find someone else more 'trustworthy'.
