ok so new years eve my father took me to the apple store as a suprise to a good report card and baught me a macbook, works great and everything. But when im at highschool and my brothers sleep in because they have school/work later they get off there lame pc laptops/desktops to go on MY new mac. i shut it down before i go to school and when i log in i would like to enter my password to acsess my computer so when i start it up it dosnt go right on to my name. any help would be great.

Click on preferences, users, then set your password. The end.

Don't forget System Preferences - Security - require password

and

System Preferences - Users - Login Options - Turn "Automatically Log In" OFF

while you're playing around with preferences, please make your forum signature smaller.
200 pixels wide by 50 pixels tall is the limit. thanks.
