Well... here it is:

http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2008-...and-country-1/

I think it's pretty good looking. In fact, I'd roll in one if someone gave me one. That I'd ever buy a minivan*, is very very unlikely considering how many awesome station wagons are out there. The new engines are supposed to be pretty peppy too.

*: I WOULD buy an old turbo minivan from the late 80s.

It's ugly and looks like someone couldn't make up their mind between designing a minivan or an SUV.

But SWG, boxy is 'in' right now. Curvy = wimpy in today's design fashion.

Good. Maybe a few thousand SUV buyers, since SUV buyers are so ignorant anyway, will fall for one of these instead of a deathmobile with high CG and soft roof and a stiff frame that kills everybody in the other vehicle.

I don't like minivans, this one is no exception. Although, if I had a family, I'm sure this thing would be perfect.

Good luck with that. Why would they buy a wannabe SUV?

I think they're taking the new look a little far. It's not terrible as a car, but in my opinion, this shouldn't have gotten past the pencil drawing phase. Honestly, I think the new minivan is hideous.

Does one have to provide proof of vasectomy at the dealer's or do they usually take your word for it?

I'm going to have to echo Dark Helmet and Dakar's first comments; that is one ugly minivan that hasn't decided whether it wants to be in the 80s or an SUV.

Because most SUV owners are wannabes anyway. Only 5% of them ever go off the road, EVER.

That's a station wagon. Not a minivan.

Hence why I'd never buy a minivan.... too many good wagons out there.

The majority of SUVs sold now can't go offroad anyway. Since when has that been a requirement of an SUV driver?

Now a Jeep driver, that's another story...

All glory to the hypnotoad.

Wannabe= ignorant dumb son of a bitch. Hence 95% of SUV drivers are ignorant morons. Hence, maybe they'll fall for this minivan instead, since it's actually designed toward what they actually NEED, instead of just portraying an image.

They're not twisted. I did a 10 page research paper on them last semester, so I'm down with my factual information. In fact, I'll start a new topic about it one of these days. It will rock. I decimate every possible argument with facts, stats, and reason.

Unless you get banned first
By the way, is there a reason you're still around?

But back on topic. That Honda station wagon is really nice, and I agree that for most things I'd pick a station wagon over a minivan.

The only thing more annoying than those new "luxury/crossover" SUVs are shirts with polyester in them.

Actually Jaguar X types, and their owners, suck big time. I can picture some d*uchebag wearing an Ohio State hat and a 20% polyester shirt, standing in his driveway with his X-type and his KIA SUV, thinking to himself, "Now THIS is luxury, I have arrived"

Well, I am not sure the Town & Country (Voyager in Euro market) would be as successful as the previous model, newer Euro vans trend to mimic the Renault Espace look, this is the fourth Space generation which is a 2003 model and IMHO looks way better than the newer Chrysler

Anyway, the inner of the Chrysler, modularity, gizmos and so… could be a huge seller factor.

I WOULD buy an old turbo minivan from the late 80

No!, what you really want is the Espace F1 from the early 90s,
3500 cc V10 engine
800 HP & 705 Nm
0-100 Km/h 2.8 seconds.
Can you say fun?

Look at any newer car. Chances are, it's not just curves, it has some of ford's 'edge' styling in it.
