I really don't know where to ask this, but this seemed as good a place as any.

Anyone who's tried to get a refurb MBP knows that they go out of stock FAST. I saw one of the C2D machines available, but I wasn't ready to buy at the time, so I put it in my cart and then used the "save cart" option. Now, does this mean that if I go to purchase that Apple will just tell me it's on back order and ship it whenever they get stock, or would I just get some kind of error message when I go to checkout?

Thanks all.

If they run out, it may not be there at all.

I'm not sure if it works like this with refurbs. Worth a try, I guess. There is nothing you would lose, right ?
