Is there a way to edit the reviews you receive on your podcasts in the ITMS?

Also... do you have any control over what shows up under the heading: LISTENERS ALSO SUBSCRIBED TO

In other words, when someone subscribes to your podcast, do all the other podcasts they have subscribed to just automatically show up on your podcast in the iTunes Music Store?

I doubt you have any way to edit the reviews you receive, that would totally negate the point of having them. As for the "listeners also" feature, it probably looks at all the people who have subscribed to your podcast, and lists the most common other podcasts they also have subscribed to. For example if every person who subscribed to your podcast also subscribed to "bobs food podcast" that would most likely be the first on the "also subscribed" list. They might mix it up a bit, I haven't really looked closely at the feature.

While I certainly see the value in people having the freedom to leave an "un-edited" review, what happens if some unscrupulous person with an axe to grind decides to use that feature as a forum to trash you? There's no way to remove it?

Don't insult your audience. They will realize if someone just lashes out. Censorship is NOT the way. Unless you run a forum

I'm not debating the pros and cons, I am simply curious if the ITMS gives the podcast originator the option?

No, because if they did most podcasts would only have positive reviews. What is stopping you from getting 2-3 friends to write good reviews? Look at amazon for instance, even the best products have the occasional "this product sucks" review.

I'd imagine that if someone used the review portion of your podcast to bash you and say stuff not about your podcast, I'm sure you could email Apple and ask them to remove it.

If someone posts something about your podcast that you feel is negative and would rather not have it there, well I think you're probably out of luck since that's their opinion and they used the review feature to express their opinion.

Of course ... you could also offer them a tribute and say "thanks idiot" on your podcast.
