I'm trying to change the password on my wife's subaccount on .mac and it won't let me at all!!! I went to the website, clicked on password and changed the password but it keeps only accepting the old password!!! I tried this on two macbooks and 1 Pmac g5....

try resetting safari and doing it

I've changed passwords on a sub-account before, so if it's not working it's bound to be fixed soon.

I'm not sure this is as much a security flaw as it is too much security.

Because changing your password is a component of good security, and this doesn't allow you to change your password?
