My puppy turned one year old today. She weighs 58.1lbs now, and she's still not very big, just really, really solid. We're pretty sure her dad was staffordshire bull terrier, so that's where she gets her extremely thick stature from. Anyway, here's the latest pic, with me asleep last night:

Nah, I just had the xmas lights on. I have a set of big ass charlie brown bulb style xmas lights around my window... I should probably take them down soon, but I really enjoy the nice, warm ambient lighting they provide to the living room.

I do love ambient lighting. But that was the first thing I thought of was any murder scene in a crummy horror movie. (Good pic tho)

Thanks. I don't know what we're going to do for her yet. Probably buy her a big ass rawhide or something, and slap a sticky bow on her head. heh.

Gracias. I thought a while about naming her... we had some other names we liked, like Lola, Roxy, Puke Machine (she got carsick a lot as a puppy), and a few others...but I like Laika the best.
