Does Chuck like you sitting in front of him?

I think you need a better strategy to improve your mood.

It's cold, it's winter, your mood is typical.

I don't mean to preach (no pun intended), but I pray. It also helps to be around supportive friends and family. Get together and go out for a beer, go to a game or see a funny movie. Determine what is sinking your mood and "give it up".

You might have a low or high level thyroid just like me. I used to be moody but after taking hypothyroid medicine, I'm all ok now. It's because of low hormones in body.

Check this article out and see if you have the same problem:

Tell a good friend/your significant other what's wrong. If you don't know what's wrong work it out together. Make sure the person you are talking to can be relied upon to be understanding and supportive. Try not to come off as a whiner while doing so. It can be tricky.

If it's just the weather and nothing too serious, it can be cured by reading, watching funny stuff, relaxing or even sporting. Get your energy levels up, eat right, smile.

I'm going through the same thing (not weather related though obviously ), so I'm taking the positive sides of what's bringing me down and clinging to them.

FWIW, I'm 23. It can happen to any young male although it's more common on female side.

Oh man! I was almost too late. I'm here to cheer you up mister!

Anyways, what should I ramble about today? Swords? Parents? Brothers? Movies? You name it, and i'll be there for you. Hey that reminds me of the famous song! "I'll be there for you, when the rain starts to fall, i'll be there for you, etc etc" You know it! Right? Yeah, of course you know it because everyone knows Friends, the greatest sitcom ever.

Bah ha ha ha ha. This is fun. My fingers are flying, my brain is racing, my mind is swimming, my teeth are numbing, my mind is stopping... as this train of thought comes to an end, but nevertheless I will keep typing even though my train of though has come to an end, because one can always write about what is happening, even if it is that nothing is happening.

Therefore, instead of letting this mental block prevent me from writing further, I will simply comment on what exactly the mental block is doing.

Ah, nevermind, too complex. Man, my right arm is getting tense, i'm typing so fast, at least 100 wpm. That's about the speed I type. I better slow down before I get some sort of syndrome that didn't exist before western medicine came along and gave a label to everything. HEE HE HE HA HA HA HA.

Okay... seriously.. I better stop now... *whew*.... *whew*........... breath....... breath...........

Pretend you're in a good mood. Seriously. There's times that I'll be in a weird funk for no apparent reason, and I'll just force myself to act happy, and I suppose my mind buys into it.

Do a Google video search for "morning musume english lesson".

I tend to feel down because I'm just physically drained. I take a day off (be it a work day or weekend) and do nothing but fun stuff.

Yesterday I played gears of war from around 11am to 5PM. I feel great today

To get out of a bad mood, I usually stop what I'm doing and begin doing something completely different and unrelated. Balloons are nice too.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned this: sunshine.

Get outside for long periods of time and get as much sunshine as you can (supposing of course that the Sun shines where you are. Otherwise, just spend as much time as you can in very light places).

I kinda touched on that with my season comment.

Some people get it only during winter, some get it during any major season change.

I know people that go into tanning beds when they feel down.

make an IED and blow up some stuffed animals. i used to blow my old stuffed animals up all the time. i would take apart fireworks and use them so the explosions were colorful.

if that doesnt work....

Break.com - Funny Pictures, Online Games & Funny Video Clips gets me out of bad moods a lot.

so does watching mass amounts of family guy.

Like I've said before, it's not how big they are, it's how they use them.

Looking at a bunch of hot chicks when you're feeling down probably won't cheer you up... it might do other things, but rarely cheers you up.

Music and/or pot and/or both.

Those women are nice, but not that nice. To have pictures of girls cheer you up, you need to find pictures of the most gorgeous girls in the world. Then you get that feeling that theres something to live for.

By the way, who else is sick of people using the words "Cute", "Hot", or "Smokin", to describe a girl?

I much prefer "Beautiful", "Stunning", "Gorgeous", "Pretty".

They feel deeper, more sensitive, and more meaningful to me.

You're looking a highly doctored photo of a woman, clearly meant to objectify them in some way, and you feel the need to search for more meaningful, deeper terms to describe them?

Go for a run. I find that that clears my head like nothing else. I put my headphones on, press play, and just run. A few miles later I feel better and then I go home.

No. I was speaking in general. With those pictures I wouldn't even bother to decide what I think of them. They look too fake for me to be attracted to them in any way.

I find the guys that are the most "critical" of pictures of hot girls on the internet are also usually the ones that have no chance of getting such girl. Now, I am not making statements about anyone in this thread. Just pointing out an observation I've made over the years.

Not just on the internet either.

Are you sleeping well? Have you been eating healthily. You aren't spending too much time mindlessly exploring the net or watching tv, are you? Can you describe the moodiness a little more? Is it bored apathy or sadness or irritable restlessness?

If you answered "yes" or "maybe" to any or all of these questions, then <insert drug name here> might be for you. Ask your doctor about <insert drug name here> today.

(Side effects include any or all terrible things you can think of.)

This is the case alot of the time, but not so with me. I would never want any of those women. When I look at girls, what matters to me is about 70% non-physical and 30% physical.

I wouldn't date 99 out of 100 girls.
