Google Video Link (12 minute clip)

Top Gear came back lastnight, and they showed and talked about Hammond's jet car crash that very very nearly killed him. Good to see it (and all three presenters) back on the tellybox and on form.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.

I'm glad he's doing well. I've been waiting for the new season to start.

A shorter version, just showing the crash video without the other 10 minutes of talking and mickey taking.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.

I watched the entire episode last night. I'm glad the show is back and the crash was a little unsettling. It was strange how quiet the entire crowd was after they showed it.

Imagine if they didn't strap his arms in and they flailed around when he crashed. Come to think of it, he is a lucky lucky man.

Glad he's doing well.

Yeah, some of the things he said to camera while they were filming the first runs, looking at it now, are a bit spooky.

I bet he'll be a bit more careful on the flippant comments to camera for a while. I did laugh when Clarkson said he could of held it when the tyre went

You think? I don't.

"That's when the roll bar and my head dug into the ground, and that brought things to a stop quite quickly, really."

Rather flippant use of "my head stopped a 230mph vehicle", don't you think?
