Long-ish article, but the gist of the article is that millionaire Bruce McMahan, a fund manager, first has a sexual relationship with his daughter then secretly marries her.

Yes, although he says since the DNA test was only 99.7% conclusive, he remains unconvinced.

Hmm... I saw this story done on the TV show Law and Order, and at the time thought that Law and Order was getting too unbelievable.

I guess not.

She's now pregnant with some new boyfriend. I don't care if she's hot, I'm not interested in dating a chick that married her father.

Let's be frank. Although we aren't at the top of this pecking order, we are in the chain.

Perv & Daughter/Wife

Other family members.

Those others who are materially affected, directly. (Lawyers and employees, future friends, beaus)

Those who materially affected, indirectly. (Media)

Those whose appetites are sated with information like this. (Us)

Should have went to the wiki article.

D. Bruce McMahan is the chief executive officer of convertible securities firm McMahan Securities Co. L.P. who has gained notoriety for allegations of sexual relationship with his biological daughter.

If you noticed there were and are all kinds of morality laws that are secular in nature. No churches involved. If you hate God, religion and churches that's one thing. But remember the laws are here for your own good. To benefit all of us. No matter our belief or non belief.

My own good?

And by the way the laws against homosexuality come from "religious beliefs" and influence the government. Nobody is harmed if 2 people of the same sex love earth other so how is that benefiting all of us by making it illegal?

"No matter our belief or non belief."
You talk peoples beliefs but you are really saying "Christian believe vs human rights = Christian wins".

Not all moral laws were religious. There was many non-religious people that were moral people as well. And made laws against things they deemed degraded society as a whole. But since you HATE anything Christian it's just easier for you to bash them within your rant.

Which is ironic because you are practicing the same hate and bigotry you are bitching about them doing.

I guess bigotry is only bad when it's used against something you stand for SWG?

Of course, this has nothing to do with this thread, considering there is no homosexuality involved.

It's about some guy screwing his biological daughter.

SWG is famous for his derailing threads with gay and anti-Christian ranting.

A lot like Salty does with his "HEY GUYS I AM GAY" derails.

It's become a staple and a cliche here at MacNN. We've come to just accept it I guess.

AP -- Online:

A MacNN thread suffered a serious derailment today. Witnesses say that it simply and unexpectedly jumped the tracks, with several cars jacknifing and spilling their cargo everywhere.

Authorities believe it was a circus train, based on the large numbers of clowns and mimes seen scattered about the wreckage. "We're doing everything we can to rescue those poor creatures, but we're hampered by piles of invisible boxes that are strewn about the area," reported one fireman who wished to remain anonymous.

(god, I'm bored....)

Dakar was seen leaving the center of crash, much like the T1000 left the wreckage of the Mac truck in T2.

You talk peoples beliefs but you are really saying "Christian believe vs human rights = Christian wins".
The fabric of society becoming looser and less able to support the continuance of the traditional family unit. That sort of thing. Perpetuation of what made America great or what has made any civilization great has not been achieved with the lovely, but risky, experiment to wholeheartedly embrace an "anyone can marry whoever and whatever they want" ideology.

Your desires are understandable but the idea of sanctioning (i.e. promoting) this ideal would have ramifications far beyond your desire to live in happily wedded bliss. The impact would be far reaching and irreversable and what might be at stake could be western civilization itself.

You are talking about screwing around with the basic building block of civilization and just as love and war have many connections and similarities as we have seen in the war, all kinds of nasty unintended consequences can spring up. Well the same is true in the conduct of love.

Please stop thinking about yourselves and your pleasure in this matter and instead think about humanity.
