I somehow fear my awesomeness would decrease if I were to seriously consider this poll.

An awesome person would never make a poll like this or vote in a poll like this.

If you vote "Yes", you are clearly NOT awesome because an awesome person would not need validation.

If you vote "No", you are definitely NOT awesome because, well, you voted no thereby admitting that you are not awesome.

Thus, I am awesome because I didn't vote "Yes" or "No" in this poll.

I am not awesome. I am simply awe.

You present a false dichotomy that is based on several unsubstantiated premises:

a) An awesome person would never make a poll like this
b) An awesome person would never vote in a poll like this
c) Awesome people do not need validation
d) Awesome people know they're awesome
e) People who are not awesome know they are not awesome.

People who point out logical flaws in others' posts are awesome.

Awesome.

Great looks, fabulous personality, amazing hair, huge **** and a totally ripped body. How can I not be awesome. Oh yeah, don't forget my complete humility, that makes me awesome, too.

I would say you are awesome if you used "you're" rather than "your" in this context, but you did say you were marrying a 17 year old, so....

Well, for sure Dork. is awesome.

Kevin is not, because he won't stop following me around saying stuff to me I don't care about. If anybody can figure out how to make him go away, they will be awesome times a million billion.

Kevin hasn't even posted here yet, so I'm not sure what you're so concerned about.
In any case, you can make him go away by Ignoring him, if you choose.

Uncle Doofy is definitely awesome.

besson3c is, dare I say it, aweall?
(For the uninitiated, aweall > awesome because awe = awe and all > some. Blame Cubeoid.)

He posted in the Photoshop thread, which means I give you t minus ten seconds before we hear about how I'm either ironic or hypocritical... But, I hope you're right, and I wish you were right about ignoring him making him go away.

Yeah, I didn't want to call anybody aweall, because it would escape most people. Aweall was invented on Fuzzy Wombat :: Index , and I think Dork. is working on a Wikipedia entry for it. I can't remember if it was Cubeoid or me that invented it, because at Fuzzywombat we are community that shares property. Thanks for the spare pair of socks, Dork.!

Anyway, yes, Dork. is indeed aweall, just to answer osiris' question.

I'm not an authority on the word, so I feel unqualified to create an entry on Wikipedia, and thus bring down the accuracy standards of that fine resource. Someone ought to make a wiki entry for fuzzywombat.com, though.

Besides, I think we need to wait for the Second Coming of Cubeoid before the story of "aweall" will be complete.

I agree - nerds and geeks can only do one thing well.
When you're a multi-faceted, awesomely awesome person, the only word that comes to mind is awesome.

What about if you only do two or three things well? Is that multi-faceted?

I think this theory is bogus. You own your own reality and semantic meaning of the word "awesome". Not only is it liberating to think of yourself as awesome, but it is your Jesus and God given constitutional right. Why? Because I decided accordingly, and I'm awesome so that makes my decision carry some more weight.

I have another theory.

I think that some things can be so incredibly unawesome that they actually go around in a big circle and become awesome again. For instance, if you tell a really bad joke but deliver it like it is so incredibly awesome, it will be awesome. If you decide you want to wear a bow tie for no reason, that is awesome. You decide you want to start a Steve Guttenberg fan club: awesome...

See how this works?

Since the thread starter regards Steve Gutenberg and Bob Saget as awsome, I think the answer is pretty obvious.

I'm just assuming that I'm awesome because it took me less than half a second to decide to click "yes."
