Florida county wants to use sewage for drinking water.
Personally, I think that they should use the sewage water/liquid to water their city parks and places that the city and county has on a public sprinkler system, but not let people drink it.
Seems to me that if their system does not work properly that people might get sick from bacteria and/or chemicals.
Weird.

I wouldn't want too but then think about the chemicals and stuff that already leach into the drinking water, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that its cleaner then water from a reservoir.

Hmmm.
No thanks. I don't even want to drink my own pee (and that tastes like Budweiser), let alone yours.

You have to get over the perception of what it is. A water processing plant will be required to have safeguards against allowing a failure to pass waste into the water system. Even now, look at the discharge from sewage processing plants. It's pretty darn close to drinkable already. ALL public water has to go through chemical treatment, regardless of the source.
But if public perception is too difficult to sway, then use it for non-drinking water if possible. The problem that brings is that the infrastructure probably has 1 system bringing all the same water. It's probably not feasible to run a whole new water system just for watering plants.

That's cool! I wonder if there would be any possible way to figure out the odds on that? And Jesus's pee. And Budah's pee. And Muh... no, I won't say that. No disrespect.

Yup, there is a water cycle on earth, everyone. Processing plants just speed the natural processes up a bit.

I think I read somewhere that on average, every breath you take contains 4 oxygen atoms that were in Ceasars last dying breath.

This thread reminds me of that terrible Ashton Kutcher film, The Butterfly Effect or that Will Smith film Six Degrees of Separation.
