Jackson 5 set to reform
Michael Jackson is likely to make a long-awaited return to the stage - with a string of gigs worth £250 million!
The band last performed together 23 years ago and are lined up to play 250 gigs in Las Vegas over three years from next year. Further concerts across the US are planned, with a European tour also on the cards.
Jackson has seen his personal fortune dwindle after allegations of child molestation ended in an expensive court case. The singer was forced to sell his Neverland ranch in order to begin to clear debts estimated at £170 million.
"There were initially some concerns about Michael's image, which has taken quite a battering with the child molestation allegations," a source told The Evening Standard.
"There were also concerns over whether Michael would be keen on performing in front of a large audience after so long away from the stage.
"So a plan was hatched to get the rest of the family tied into a deal first. They were offered a deal to reform - for a much smaller payday - and were told that if they got Michael on board, the figure would skyrocket.
"That's when the rest of the family got working on Michael - and it seems to have worked," the source added.

Somebody is short on cash, I guess.
To put it in perspective, this is almost as much as Howard Stern's contract. But Howard has fewer people to pay and gets to sleep in his own bed every night with a gorgeous Supermodel.
