Just saw the new G37 coupe. What a nice looking car. I really hope that Infiniti and Nissan can keep on bringing out cars like this. Looks nice than the new E92 M3 IMO. 330 HP is hot too.

The last few looked kinda wierd. They didn't look like the concept model. Four wheel steering is interesting. Kinda wierd how the Prelude had it years ago, but not very many other companies have ventured into four wheel steering in coupes.

We love our G35, but I'm too big for it (6'4") so my wife drives it all the time.

Looks nice, but I'm no coupe fan. A nice Infiniti G35 sedan is a better fit for me.

Me, too: we have the sedan, and I think the coupe looks silly.

As early as '86.
The R31 Skyline of 1986... ...Another technological first for the R31 was the introduction of Nissan's proprietary 4-wheel steering system, dubbed HICAS (High Capacity Active Steering).

I remember the 4 wheel steer Preludes. Great commercials they had for those.

That's funny, I feel the opposite. I find the G35 an incredibly attractive design, whereas the sedan just looks like a melted version of the coupe, with ugly taillights, and a very 'femmy' design. Basically it got it's balls cut off.

Those pics are nice but the design is a bit 5 years ago. Way to safe and doesn't stand out enough.

Completely agree. My roommate's dad has the G35x sedan (AWD) and I was always 'meh' about it, but when I saw the coupe I couldn't stop drooling.

Yeah, looks more like a toyota design, like the new camry... not as edgy and bold as the G35. Boo infiniti.

Uh, yeah -- that's why it's a girl car. You didn't know that?

The front end of the G37 is tight. The bulging fenders are pretty nice.

I don't think so. I think it's attractive to both sexes. I see a ton of guys driving G35 coupes here, and a lot of ladies driving G35x sedans.

Dude.... just... wow. You + car thread= you looking like a moron, 100% of the time. He was saying the sedan was a girly looking car, and the coupe was very masculine looking. Just stick to motor trend for a few more years.

Well, I'm not such a fan of the redesign; that little "lip" on the back end really drives me nuts. The coupe doesn't look nearly as aggressive to me.
But I've always loved the coupe and the sedan. I think they're both amazing-looking cars. I'd get the sedan, personally, but that's probably just more of a personal thinking-about-the-family preference. I'd really get the M45 though.

I thought he was talking about G35s in general. I didn't see sedan. Just because I can't read doesn't make me a car moron.

You mean where Rob flat-out said "whereas the sedan just looks like a melted version of the coupe, with ugly taillights, and a very 'femmy' design"?
Yep, that's what I replied to.

Don't forget the HICAS 4wheel steering sported on the 90s 300zx.
It will remain to be seen what the G37 looks like in person. I remember thinking the 90s 300zx looked "OK" in pictures. When I saw one in real life, the subtle curves and bulges smooth glass headlamps .... man that was one beautiful freakin car.
