Oh... god.... what have they done... what have they done.... holy crap. This is terrible. I've sketched things on napkins that look better than this design. Ugh. What the **** were they thinking:
On top of this, it's smaller, but HEAVIER. UGGGHHHHH. It looks like the result of a drunken orgy between a chrysler pacifica, subaru tribeca, and honda civic si (2003ish). All horrible looking cars, producing something so horrible I can't even believe this is real. Jesus christ. Now I have to go to bed pissed off.

To me it looks like a Mazada 3 and a 2006 BWM 3-series slapped together. Doesn't much matter since I've never cared for any of the WRX designs, and this one won't halt that trend.

Yesterday I had the same feeling. Imagine my delight when I found out (after looking at the web site) that Jeep UK have ditched the vast majority of their petrol engines. And introduced the POS Compass.

meh - subaru is too expensive for the type of car it offers. I owned one years ago and it wasn't bad but when I went to get another they were asking way too much money for what you were getting. The design has been going down heel for years. Look at the tribeca - one fugly vehicle, if your going to buy an suv buy a real one not one of those pretend tribecas.

The tribeca is one of the nicest driving SUVs out there right now..... and yeah, it's fugly, but it's not as BAD as this abomination. Seeing this new WRX makes me want ot kill it. With fire.

The previous WRXs have been sort of "brutes." They're not there to look good, just go fast. This one looks all curvy, especially in the fascia and under the headlights.

The first thing I thought of was a Mazda 3 which isn't a bad thing, but I think I'd choose the Mazda over this one since that front grill area is horrible.

I am not impressed with their customers. Nice people, just not the brightest. [hint: they where the same people who I posted a video of getting a jeep stuck in about 3" of snow".

What do you mean? Compact cars?
Sure thing. They are great for the city, great as a second car or if you don't have a family. Low on gas, low on running cost. The Mazda 3 is a sweet little car. Nippy, well build.
In Europe, the majority of cars sold are compacts.

Where did you get those pictures? In the Future Cars Motor Trend issue their pics look totally different. That doesn't even have Subie's new three slot grill.

FYI the image resizer doesn't work in IE7, which is what I'm forced to use when I'm on campus. So this page is like 3 miles wide. But I refuse to say that I miss Tooki.

Based exclusively on those few images, i like it.
The back looks like a Saab sport wagon.
I never liked 3 volume cars, you'll have enough time to grow a butt when you get older...

Surprise, it's me.
Actually i just retired my SW names and am using this one. I was going to make a thread about it but I don't want to be an attention whore.
So what is this about : "SWG was constantly singing the praises of America and I was arguing with his every point."?
