Have they said for sure who is going to be in the new lineup? Last I heard it was Billy and Jimmy (of course) and Melissa Auf Der Maur had said she would be willing to return if asked to.

The dead one released a statement that he would not be participating due to previous commitments and death.

None of the original members has died. You may be thinking of the death of Jonathan Melvoin, a touring keyboardist that overdosed with Chamberlin in '96, leading to Chamberlin's removal.
