Is there a way to extract/import sound files off of a playstation 2 game, Metal Gear Solid: Substinence, onto my powerbook using 10.3.9?

I want to assign the different goofy sounds as specific actions on my comp. I've heard about psound for pc's, but can't seem to find anything mac based.

Any suggestions?
