I wasn't sure if I should post this, but then I decided, you've helped, you should know. I know, I would appreciate it.

My friend Esther passed away peacefully this morning. She was at home, in the company of her family.

She didn't make her goal, seeing her daughter Sophie on her first day at school, but the treatment that was bought with the money donated by you and many others did make a huge difference to the quality of her remaining life. She managed to spend meaningful time with her family and friends, even to attend a dinner party and visit restaurants.

Thank you once more for your generosity in money and in kindness. It made a huge difference.

Any remaining funds will be donated to cancer research.

She lived a few blocks away from me, she was part of the my community, it's a small world that was lucky to have her for the extra time it did.
