ABSOLUT ICEBAR

Some people told me I should check out the icebar. Its has a 12 pound cover. Is the 24 USD to spend 40 minutes in a bar made of completely of ice really worth it?

Anyone been there?

A friend of mine who lives in London has been. She said it is so cold in there and they give you coats to wear to keep you warm. Sounds neat.

Hm. The cover charge includes the "designer thermal cape" and a vodka drink.

That's not *too* bad for a tourist novelty bar.

In February I spent a night at the Ice Hotel Canada in Quebec. It had a pretty cool ice bar with ice cups, too...

Ice bar? £12 cover? Jeez, all I have to do is leave the house and have a drink on my porch right now. White Easter here.

Anyway, I've been to the ice bar in Stockholm (no cover, but hey, this is in London where everything costs) and it was kind of meh. You're in a fridge, having a drink.

Do you get to keep the cape?
