HONOLULU -- Legendary crooner Don Ho, known for his raspberry-tinted sunglasses and catchy signature tune "Tiny Bubbles," has died, his publicist said. He was 76.

Now he WAS a nappy-haired "HO".

Not the best way to wish a legendary entertainer r.i.p.

Aloha, Don Ho. You're taking a piece of Hawaiiana with you.

Eh, Vonnegut was everywhere immediately, so I didn't think it was worth making another thread here. I hadn't heard about Don Ho dying before this thread.

He didn't sing anything silly, he invented Wheaties.

"'Jelly Hat' sounds silly," I told Prince. "How about something poetic, like 'Raspberry Beret.'"

Everyone didn't see the thread you started about it? I feel so incredibly awful now... Not sure I can maintain enough interest in Americana to give a care about Don Ho at this point.

Thank you! Thank you for showing me the error of my ways.

The OP is the second person I've heard use that phrase. Before that, the only time I'd ever heard the phrase is when this one 94 year old patient of mine comes in. I think she's genuinely pissed off that she's still alive. Every time I ask how she's doing, she says, "I'm ready for my dirt nap!"

Figures. I mention her in this thread, and guess who comes into the office today?

Like always, I asked her how she's doing. "I wanna take my dirt nap!"
