Yay, some dipshit thought it would be funny to make a bomb threat at the University of Minnesota today. Isn't there some sort of anti-stupid law? It seriously frustrates me that people are irresponsible enough to think this might be a funny idea. I guess there were at least 10 other threats nation-wide today too. so angry at stupid people right now.

In this particular case of stupidness, yes, there is a law against making fake bomb threats.

Actually, there's a law against making ANY bomb threat, false or otherwise. But this is mean stupid, and it should hurt for a long time.

I dunno, if you plant a bomb, and then call to warn about it, would they really prosecute you for the call? Or just the bomb?

You think there is a mass conspiracy to have a certain amount of people in prisons?

It's not a conspiracy. It's highly visible and garners great public support.
